Neptunes Surf Coaching aims to educate and provide a fun, rewarding surfing experience in a safe environment so guys and girls from groms to grandpas can experience the exhilaration of surfing and become kings of the sea.
Neptunes Surf Coaching is Surfing SA’s newest surf school.   Neptunes was launched over the Easter break in 2006, with lessons commencing in December 2006.  Mark Harris is the owner/operator – Director and Head Instructor.

Mark is an experienced, skilled surfer (over 25 years) who has a great passion for the sport and sharing his knowledge with others.  With a fun attitude and approachable manner, a good time and valuable learning experience is ensured.
Mark’s Qualifications:
– Level 2 Accredited Surf Instructor with Surfing Australia
– Bronze Medallion in Surf Life Saving
– Advanced Resuscitation Certificate
– Senior First Aid
Mark is widely travelled and has surfed at some of the best breaks in Australia and around the globe (Hawaii, Pacific Islands, South Africa, Mauritius, Bali, Mentawai Islands, West Coast of USA, France).  Being a SA boy at heart he loves the pristine surf of the West Coast and Yorke Peninsula, preferring the isolation and uncrowded breaks.

Mark is also a member of Semaphore Surf Life Saving Club, Life Member of Bootleg Boardriders Club (and past Champion) and an active member of the Formby Bay Environment Action Group.  He was also a pioneer of tow-in surfing in South Australia and loves the challenge of big wave surfing.
